The Smooth Operators present 'Female Mellow Moods'

The Smooth Operators (Martijn Soetens and I) pay tribute to the 1970s FM radio sound with our series Mellow Moods. This is our latest chapter: Female Mellow Moods!

'Lotta love' by Nicolette Larson was composed by Neil Young and reached number 8 on the Billboard pop chart in 1979. The song has become a yacht rock classic over the years. Joey Negro remixed the track for his 'Remixed with love 2' album that came out recently. Nicolette Larson sadly passed away in 1997 after struggling with her health and being depressed.

The track by Nohelani Cypriano is on a new compilation called 'Aloha got soul', out on Strut Records.
