Too Hurt To Dance

The album track 'Too hurt to dance' from Duffy (picture) really hit me when I heard it the first time. That's why I put it up as the theme song of this mix. And there are more very good tracks on her latest album. Despite what the critics say, I think it's just as good as her first one. The songs are co-written by Albert Hammond. He’s known for classics like ‘The air that I breathe’ (a hit for The Hollies), I don’t wanna die in an air disaster’, ‘It never rains in southern California’ and many more. And the album was co-produced by Stuart Price (Les Rythmes Digitales) who worked with Madonna, Scissor Sisters, Brandon Flowers (The Killers) and remixed Lady Gaga songs recently. And the backing band are no others than the Roots. Enjoy!

Please Mr DJ won't you turn the music down
Why can't you understand
I'm too hurt to dance tonight
