Six years ago Charles Maurice (aka Pascal Rioux) started his AOR Global Sounds series to share his long time love for yacht rock of the late 1970s and early 1980s. On the soon to be released 5th volume, he again selected AOR and West Coast gems from independent labels, like the track from Rhapsody, which is on this cloudcast.

Released in March 1977, Easy by The Commodores reached number one on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and number four on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is a slow ballad about a man's emotions at the end of a relationship. Singer Lionel Richie states that he is not depressed about the break-up and claims that he feels "easy like Sunday morning". Jonathan Coulton did a good job to sound exactly like the original.
