Smooth Sailing On A Dead Calm Sea

Just feel the vibe on this dead calm episode of Smooth Sailing! ๐Ÿ˜Š

In 1977 Dean Friedman's first single Ariel was a hit in the US, but it did not reach the charts on the other side of the ocean. A year later, Lydia, from his second album, Well Well Said The Rocking Chair, reached #31 in the UK and #29 in the Netherlands, but for some reason it did not chart overseas. Dean Friedman said about this epic love song:
"I wrote it about a lovely young lady I dated when I was just starting out in the music business, but I used her roommate's name to protect the not-so-innocent."
