Le Temps Est Bon– Sultry Seventies Songs From France

The track by Paul Martin is from the new compilation French Rare Groove – Rare Funky Songs From France:
“Freaky French tracks from a variety of sources – served up here in a set that does a great job of going past the obvious choices from the Serge Gainsbourg side of the spectrum!” (Dusty Groove)In 1979, Ottawan was founded by producers Daniel Vangarde and Jean Kluger (originally from Belgium) and fronted by Patrick Jean-Baptiste and Annette Eltice. Kluger and Vangarde were also the masterminds behind hit singles from Nightschool and The Gibson Brothers. Fun fact, Daniel Vangarde is the father of Thomas Bangalter, who is best known as one half of French duo Daft Punk, of course.
Next up is a new part of Smooth Sailing!
