After the burning of R&B records on Disco Demolition Night on July 12, 1979, at Comiskey Park in Chicago, dance music disappeared for the greatest part from mainstream American radio, but it was still very popular in clubs and it was bigger than ever in Europe. Disco proved to be indestructible and it came back stronger and more soulful in the 1980s. Enjoy this new part of The Disco Years!
