Super Softness Of The Seventies

C-Heads Magazine
Music never sounded as soft as in the 1970s. This is the proof, enjoy! 😊

In the 1970s singer/songwriter Jimmie Spheeris found it hard to reach commercial success, although he released 4 beautiful albums. After Ports Of The Heart, which came out in 1976, Spheeris lost his recording contract:
“Commercially, Spheeris wasn't where he deserved to be in 1976, but creatively, he was on a roll. The L.A. native incorporates a variety of influences on this album, including jazz, folk and country. In fact, jazzmen Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke are among the guests.” (Allmusic.com)
