Cashbox Black Contemporary Top 25 – July 12, 1980

Enjoy the 25 best soul tracks on July 12, 1980, according to American music magazine Cashbox, the main competitor of Billboard back then. What I like about these kinds of charts, apart from the classics, are the surprises that are in between. For example, the songs from Five Special and Rockie Robbins were never released in the Netherlands at the time. And even the number 2 by soul legend Gladys Knight did not make it to the charts in our country. In this way, making this cloudcast became a very interesting journey of discovery.

Next up a new part of Sunshine Radio
