Soulful Takes And Breaks

This mix is more or less inspired by the very nice Adidas commercial, sung by Dee Edwards, of course. One of my favorite tracks in this mix is ‘Collage’ by the Three Degrees. It’s some kind of ‘psychedelic soul’, done in their pre-Philly days. It sounds very cool, fresh and original. And I love the forgotten Marvin Gaye track when he shouts out his pain of a broken heart. If 'Schooboy crush' by the Average White Band sounds familiar: TLC used it in their breakthrough hit 'Ain't 2 proud 2 beg'. Enjoy!
